We are a small group who have been involved in opening up the gully area with planing over 2000 trees. We are now working to try to keep the area weed free while the trees grow! There is also a good walking track of 1.2km through the gully.

Let's Learn - Community Education BOP provides support for community education providers and tutors. We also run a successful Adult Learners' Week every year, which is strongly supported by local councils, education providers, and business organizations. Our primary role is to support organizations and individuals involved in community education. We are interested in any support that you may be able to offer, so please contact us if you have any thoughts or suggestions.

The Manaaki Kaimai Mamaku Trust brings together kaitiaki, stakeholders and interest groups to improve the health of the Kaimai Mamaku to provide for present and future generations.
Our aim is to enhance Matua estuary and salt marsh area by responsibly managing the spread of mangroves, controlling weed and pest infestations and carrying out rubbish clearance. This has been and will continue to be achieved by working in partnership with Tauranga City Council and Environment Bay of Plenty and aims to make Matua estuary more enjoyable and accessible to the wider community
