16 Sep
9:00 am - 10:30 am
Join Renaturing Katikati for a community planting session as we complete the final stage of restoring this section of the Uretara Riverbank.
Help plant around 300 native grasses to finish the restoration work that began last year. It’s a great opportunity to get outdoors, lend a hand and help care for our local environment.
After the planting, stick around for morning tea and a chance to chat with other volunteers.
Date: Wednesday, September 16th
Time: 9am-10.30am
Location: Uretara Landing Reserve, Katikati
Cost: Free
Parking is available on Noble Johnson Drive.
Morning tea will be provided after the planting.
Organised by Renaturing Katikati.
This event is part of Climate Action Festival 2026, taking place across the Bay of Plenty from 14-20 September. Find more events and ways to take action at Envirohub.org.nz(opens in new tab)
