DESCRIPTION:Uretara Landing Planting\nJoin Renaturing Katikati for a community planting session as we complete the final stage of restoring this section of the Uretara Riverbank. \nAbout the event\nHelp plant around 300 native grasses to finish the restoration work that began last year. It’s a great opportunity to get outdoors\, lend a hand and help care for our local environment. \nAfter the planting\, stick around for morning tea and a chance to chat with other volunteers. \nEvent details\nDate: Wednesday\, September 16th\nTime: 9am-10.30am\nLocation: Uretara Landing Reserve\, Katikati\nCost: Free \nParking is available on Noble Johnson Drive. \nWhat to bring\n\nSturdy footwear\nClothes suitable for outdoor work\nWater bottle\nSun protection and clothing suitable for changeable weather\n\nMorning tea will be provided after the planting. \nOrganised by Renaturing Katikati. \nThis event is part of Climate Action Festival 2026\, taking place across the Bay of Plenty from 14-20 September.
