Do you know how to spot an invasive paddle crab, or what to do if you see one? Join us to explore the moana and learn why invasive pest species are a threat to our coastal ecosystems. Kids aged 7–10, with basic reading and maths skills, can learn without getting wet, with Marine Invaders, an interactive game where they work together in groups for a game of survival of the fittest, and face pest species again native species. It’s a hands-on, engaging way for tamariki to learn about the ocean, teamwork, and protecting Aotearoa’s unique marine environment.
