Fulfilled are two dads looking to ensure that our environment is as it should be for our children. Our organisation's key focus is to empower people to become kaitiaki of our whenua. Fulfilled is currently a social movement that encourages people to get together, get active out in our environment and to remove the negative impact of humans on our natural surroundings by removing litter.
Fulfilled itself is a movement that at this stage exists on social media focused on awareness, engagement and the development of a sense of community. We are working with local software developers, CreativeQ, to build an app for people to use to record their environmental efforts, and this is a key initial area of growth. The app will show our community's progress in real time as they collectively improve the environmental state and clean the environment they enjoy. By doing this, we will be able to collectively gather crucial data like types of litter, key brands, quantities, hot spots and illegal dumpsites. More importantly though, we are shifting mindsets and educating our youth to become proud kaitiaki and responsible citizens of Aotearoa.
