Calling all Rotorua current or aspiring sewists!
Step into the world of zero waste fashion with Emma La Rocca of Emroce Zero Waste Swimwear for a fun sewing workshop.
We welcome beginners to experienced sewists to learn zero-waste pattern-making and marker-making techniques to integrate at home and ultimately reduce fabric waste. Through paper folding exercises and tessellating shapes, Emma will guide you through simple steps to create your very own zero waste pattern.
When: 6.00pm, Thursday, August 20th
Where: Studio 2, The Arts Village, 1240 Hinemaru St, Rotorua 3010
Tickets: $20 per person. REGISTRATIONS ARE ESSENTIAL.
What to Bring: Pattern making equipment - eg. pens & pencils, ruler, set square, scissors, sellotape, sketch books/paper, calculator. A pattern and its cutting plan to adapt if we have time.
