Join the Fungi Fest team for some creativity and community connection at our mushroom painting workshop! Paint a collection of small upcycled corflute mushrooms while learning about and celebrating the enchanting world of fungi.

There will be a selection of upcycled corflute mushroom shapes to choose from that you can paint and then turn into a set of pot plant spikes or a mushroom garland to hang at home.

What to Expect...
Everything Provided: We supply the paints, brushes, and everything you need to bring your fungi-inspired vision to life. Feel free to explore various styles and techniques, guided by your own imagination or the fascinating world of fungi.
Learn while creating: learn about the different parts of the mushroom and the vast range of mushroom colours and shapes that can be found in the fungi world.
Community Connection: Engage with fellow participants, share ideas, and enjoy the camaraderie of a creative community. Connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for art and fungi.
Upcycled art: All of the mushrooms are laser cut from rescued corflute election signs.

Date and Time: Sunday 14th April, 11:30am - 2:00pm
Location: Envirohub, 31b Glasgow Street, Tauranga
Open to All Ages and Skill Levels: From beginners to seasoned painters, everyone is welcome.
All Materials Provided: Paints, brushes, string, wooden spikes and upcycled corflute mushroom cutout (pre-primed).
Come prepared: make sure you wear clothes you don't mind getting paint on (just in case of accidents) and feel free to bring an apron to wear if you like.
Two booking options: $7 to create a mushroom garland with 5 mushroom cutouts OR a set of 3 mushroom pot plant spikes. OR only $12 to do both!

NOTE: All children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times - we are all about learning together. Book 1 space/creation and work on it together, or book 2 spaces/creations and work on your own individual projects.
