DESCRIPTION:Join the Fungi Fest team for some creativity and community connection at our mushroom painting workshop! Paint a collection of small upcycled corflute mushrooms while learning about and celebrating the enchanting world of fungi. \nThere will be a selection of upcycled corflute mushroom shapes to choose from that you can paint and then turn into a set of pot plant spikes or a mushroom garland to hang at home. \nWhat to Expect…\nEverything Provided: We supply the paints\, brushes\, and everything you need to bring your fungi-inspired vision to life. Feel free to explore various styles and techniques\, guided by your own imagination or the fascinating world of fungi.\nLearn while creating: learn about the different parts of the mushroom and the vast range of mushroom colours and shapes that can be found in the fungi world.\nCommunity Connection: Engage with fellow participants\, share ideas\, and enjoy the camaraderie of a creative community. Connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for art and fungi.\nUpcycled art: All of the mushrooms are laser cut from rescued corflute election signs. \nWhy Join…\nCreative Freedom: Paint you mini mushrooms inspired by nature\, fantasy\, or personal expression.\nStress-Free Zone: Enjoy a relaxed and pressure-free painting experience. You have 2 and a half hours to paint at your own pace.\nInspiration from Nature: Draw inspiration from the fascinating forms and colors of fungi\, creating a unique and personal piece of art. \nCome and be a part of this vibrant artistic celebration! Discover the joy of mushroom painting\, connect with your community\, and create your own mini mushroom masterpieces to take home. We can’t wait to see the creativity bloom! \nDate and Time: Sunday 14th April\, 11:30am – 2:00pm\nLocation: Envirohub\, 31b Glasgow Street\, Tauranga\nOpen to All Ages and Skill Levels: From beginners to seasoned painters\, everyone is welcome.\nAll Materials Provided: Paints\, brushes\, string\, wooden spikes and upcycled corflute mushroom cutout (pre-primed).\nCome prepared: make sure you wear clothes you don’t mind getting paint on (just in case of accidents) and feel free to bring an apron to wear if you like.\nTwo booking options: $7 to create a mushroom garland with 5 mushroom cutouts OR a set of 3 mushroom pot plant spikes. OR only $12 to do both! \nNOTE: All children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times – we are all about learning together. Book 1 space/creation and work on it together\, or book 2 spaces/creations and work on your own individual projects.
