Predator trapping is vital to protect Aotearoa’s precious birds and insects. Join us and learn about Predator Free BOP and how to make your own Rat Trap Tunnel to take home! All material is provided, although please bring a hammer if you have one!

Each household can work as a group to make a trapping tunnel, we will also provide the trap. Once you have made your trap you will need to sign up to the Predator Free Bay of Plenty website to log your trapped rats. - This workshop is suitable for all ages that are able to wield a hammer (or supervise the wielding of a hammer) - This workshop will be held under cover so will go ahead regardless of weather conditions.
