Volunteer

Volunteers are intrinsic to our community and the work they do is immensely appreciated. Where would New Zealand be without them?

From time-to-time Envirohub need volunteers to help us with our programs such as Predator Free, Precious Plastic and Sustainable Backyards. Sometimes help is needed for a one-off event, workshop or a longer commitment if you wanted to be a community leader for Predator Free.

If you’d like to be a community volunteer and start a community backyard trapping

If you would like to connect with a local conservation or community care group,
please browse our Regional Environment Network and contact them directly

If Conservation is your passion connect with Bay Conservation Alliance. In their role
to support and grow the capability and impact of conservation groups in the Bay of
Plenty they can connect you to a local group that rely on the generosity of local
people sharing their time.
