The Future of Conservation – Regional Environment Network Annual Hui 2024

 

The Regional Environment Network annual Hui is a day for networking and an opportunity to collaborate, inspire and share with the environmental, green hands groups throughout the BOP.

Envirohub and Bay Conservation Alliance are inviting all changemakers and do-ers to come along for a day of inspiration, collaboration and sharing.

This year's theme is The Future of Conservation, and we are planning a program packed with great speakers for attendees to enjoy including:

  • Jessi Morgan - Predator Free NZ - Progress and updates
  • The Feral Feline problem - A Workshop - Collaboration and information sharing
  • Carmel Richardson & Wayne O'Keefe - The Kōkako Ecosystem Expansion Programme - Kōkako, Kaharoa, KEEP.
  • William Reeves & Craig Watson - Friends of the Blade - Innovative technologies and how to use them
  • Bella Ngawhika and Awhina Awhimate - My vision for the future of our taiao
