Come and join a community planting weekend to help create a scenic outdoor space at the corner of Pyes Pa and Joyce Roads and to acknowledge an important part of Tauranga's History

The Te Ranga landscape plan is a project to redevelop the area where the Battle of Te Ranga took place in 1864.

Everyone is welcome to join Tauranga City Council at the planting days on

Friday 17th June 12pm - 2.30pm (Site preparation and plant distribution)

Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th June 9am - 12pm & 2pm- 5pm. 

Bring your own spade, water and snacks.  Covered footwear is essential and if you have one, wear a fluro top.  Tamariki are welcome but must be supervised at all times.

No need to register just turn up.  Parking is available on site with entry on Joyce Road
