Join us to celebrate Seaweek and Sustainable Backyards by collecting litter along Maketu Spit and protecting our moana from rubbish. Meet Rangers from the Department of Conservation with tips about what to do when you see wildlife on the beach. Gloves and bags will be provided alongside light refreshments.

This event is a collaboration between Maketu Ongatoro Wetland Society, Envirohub and the Department of Conservation.
