Learn how to preserve summer fruit and vegetables from your garden. We will use a selection from the Māra Kai to make relish and/or sauces so that the taste of summer is preserved for you and your whanau in a jar. Bring your apron. You will take home : ideas, recipes and at least one jar of summer sauce.
We will make three preserves using Pumpkin, Tomatoes, and Rhubarb from LPCC Maara Kai.
BYO clean glass jars with fitted lids to take home each preserve. Recipes to be forwarded by email afterwards.
