Guided Farm Tour. Tikitere Farm is a small farm on a sustainable journey. Using regenerative, organic and holistic principles. This farm tour will be of interest to all, incl home gardeners, farmers, curious people, people at the beginning, or advanced stages, of their sustainability journey. Come for a guided tour around the farm looking at and discussing the different elements - worm farm, vege garden, hazelnut orchard, mixed fruit orchard, subtropical orchard, new growing system (syntropic) development, cows, sheep and chickens. For some of the tour you will be walking through paddocks with no defined path and uneven ground. Be sure to dress for the weather conditions on the day, and bring your drink bottle. This farm tour is suitable for all ages - children are most welcome and must be supervised at all times by their adult. No pets please. TOUR STARTS AT 2pm.
