A unique experience of our native bush. You will be welcomed to the kohanga at Aongatete Forest in the pre-dawn glow with a hot drink. A very short walk and you’re in position for the dawn chorus. Be immersed in the sounds and sensations of the forest greeting a new day, deftly narrated by our bird identification expert. Once the sun has risen, a delicious breakfast awaits. Then enjoy an interesting guest speaker followed by a guided stroll of our forest to learn more about what we do (walk is optional). The event will wrap up by 10 am.
