Join Western Bay Wildlife Trust & Tauranga City Council to plant for penguins during Matariki.  Help improve their habitat, reduce erosion and provide nesting cover and materials as they enter breeding season,  For those keen to get stuck in we will have gloves and rubbish bags too for some litter picking.

At the end of the session there will be a shorebird education session for anyone interested in learning about our awesome shorebirds.

Wear covered footwear and meet at Moturiki Island (Mount Beach) at 10am
