8:30am – Bird Identification Workshop
Join local bird expert Paul Cumming for an inspiring session on identifying native birds by sight and sound. Paul has an exceptional ear for bird calls and will share tips to help you recognise what you’re hearing on your own neighbourhood walks. What to bring: notebook, pen, and sturdy outdoor shoes (the track includes a reasonably steep section).
9:30am – Community Planting & Reserve Care
Keen to contribute to your local environment? Help us care for the Esk Street Walkway, a beautiful reserve in our city. We’ll be removing invasive pest plants to support the health of our native vegetation. What to bring: closed‑toe shoes and a water bottle. All equipment will be provided.
