We’ll be making Christmas stockings\, but if stockings aren’t really your thing\, you can turn yours into a bag instead. \nEverything you need is here\, including fabric and sewing machines\, although you’re very welcome to bring along your own fabric if there’s something you’d like to use. \nThis workshop is for the grown ups. Bring some fabric you’d like to swap – we can do fabric for fabric or fabric for clothes. A new feature for our Rotorua Clothing Swap\nRefreshments and a drink provided while we hang the items ready for a 7pm swap.\nYou’ll be issued a token for each garment supplied before paying for any ‘new-to-you’ items with your tokens.\nAll garments must be in clean\, wearable condition only. Women’s\, men’s and children of any size.\n\nWhen: 6.30pm\, Thursday\, November 18th \nWhere: Studio 2\, The Arts Village\, 1240 Hinemaru St\, Rotorua 3010 \nTickets: $5 per person\, includes snacks. DESCRIPTION:Join Envirohub at Tauranga’s Christmas in the Park on Saturday 5th December \nHave a go at our furoshiki (wrapping without paper) and community loom projects. \nTauranga’s Christmas in the Park is an annual community focussed Christmas fundraising event \n5th December\, 10am – 4pm\, Soper ReserveChristmas markets\, Street food\, Live Music\, Free workshops\, Santa’s Grotto\, Fun Football\, Face painting & more to come!\nOur aim is to create a great opportunity for the community to come together before Christmas and enjoy a full day of entertainment. We want to encourage community spirit and ‘giving back’ to enable us to support local charities and communities group who are working with families and children.\nFor a gold coin entry\, or a non-perishable food donation\, you will get to enjoy a pre-Christmas event filled with live music\, performances\, arts\, craft and artisan food/drink.
