DESCRIPTION:The Young at Heart Festival\, 1- 8 October\, is a week of community-led events that celebrates our older community – parents\, grandparents\, friends and neighbours – who do so much for the city. \nThe festival wraps around the official International Day of Older Persons on  1 October 2026. \nFrom fitness classes to workshops\, the festival includes great events to get involved with\, social events to make new friends and opportunities to share skills with the next generation. \nMany of the activities offer a free taster just for the festival and are regularly running throughout the year.
