DESCRIPTION:Visible mending is inspired by the Japanese art of Sashiko\, a form of embroidery where fabric is patched and embellished with stitchery. \nIt is about working with your favourite garments to fix imperfections\, instead of sending them to landfill. \nIn this workshop you will be shown several different methods of mending garments. You will have the opportunity to try some methods yourself. \nPlease bring some garments and we will discuss different methods that would be most suitable to create a new look. \nSome threads and fabrics supplied\, but you might like to bring some of your favourites. \n$19 per person – Get your tickets here – www.theartsjunction.org.nz
