SUMMARY:Tree Planting Closing Event - Young At Heart Festival
DESCRIPTION:Join Envirohub and Tauranga City Council for a short formal close to our week of festivities celebrating the older person\, then plant your own native plant alongside whānau in a ceremony symbolising growth\, belonging\, and care for Papatūānuku. \nLight refreshments served. All ages and families welcome! \nFree tickets—please RSVP to reserve your tree. \nPlants and spades will be provided but feel free to bring your own gloves and spade if you want. \nPlease ensure you wear appropriate footwear as you will be planting in and around the wetland. \nLook out for the flags and gazebos for the exact location at Gordon Carmichael Reserve \nIf you have mobility issues please get in touch so we can make a plan to accommodate you.
