DESCRIPTION:Free Guided Night Hikoi at Okere Falls \nJoin Department of Conservation and Envirohub at the Okere Falls Carpark for an exciting night walk to discover what lives in our forests and soil.\n• A short hikoi with torches to see (and hear) the animal\, insect and plant life we can find\n• Under fairy lights we’ll have storytime in the forest glade\n• On our return we’ll be able to see the real life fairy lights of our native glowworms.\n• Hot chocolate back at the carpark after!!\nDate: 6th September 6.00pm – 8.00pm\nWhere: Okere Falls Carpark\, Rotorua\nBring: Warm clothes\, torch or headlamp\, comfortable walking shoes\nNote: Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult \nRegistration Essential! \nThis event is part of Conservation Week 2025
