SUMMARY:Sewing Patchwork with Packaging Tauranga
DESCRIPTION:In this Creative Sewing Workshop\, we will be covering the basics of using a machine sewing\, then diving into some upcycling. \nMaking use of discarded fabric packaging and other textile offcuts\, we will explore patchworking\, and you can use this technique to make a pair of kids patchwork pants or a bag. I will have pants patterns available for sizes 6 months up to 8 years. \nThis is a chance to tap into your creativity\, become inspired by creating from recycled materials\, as well as learn a new life skill. \nSuitable for beginner sewers. Light refreshments provided. \nWhen: Friday\, March 7th\, 6:30pm – 9pm \nWhere: Envirohub\, 31B Glasgow Street\, Tauranga \nTickets: $30 – This event is usually $45.
