SUMMARY:Recycled Plastic Jewellery Workshop - Whakatane
DESCRIPTION:Join Envirohub at Te Kōputu a te whanga a Toi/ Whakatāne Library and Gallery for a fun workshop where you will learn all about plastic recycling in Aotearoa and then turn a sheet of colourful recycled & reformed plastic lids\, into beautiful jewellery pieces using simple jewellery-making techniques. \nYou will make and take home a pair of earrings or a pendant made to your own design. \n  \nWhen: 10.30am – 12pm\, 9th November 2024 \nWhere: Te Kōputu a te whanga a Toi/ Whakatāne Library\, 49 Kakahoroa Drive\, Whakatāne \nTickets: $10 per person making\, be sure to book asap as spaces are limited! \nClick here to book tickets!\n\n\n  \nConditions: \nWe will be photographing the event\, please let us know when you arrive if you do not want to be in any photos. \nPlease book a ticket for each person (big or small) who will be making and taking home a piece of jewellery. \nBest suited for adults and older children who are confident using scissors un-aided and have the dexterity to use jewellery pliers.
