DESCRIPTION:Join Envirohub at the Kawerau District library for a fun workshop where you will learn all about plastic recycling in Aotearoa and then turn a sheet of colourful recycled & reformed plastic lids\, into beautiful jewellery pieces using simple jewellery-making techniques. \nYou will take home a pair of earrings\, a pendant or a keyring made to your own design. \nWhen: 10.30am\, 5th November 2024 \nWhere: Kawerau District Library and Museum\, Jellicoe Court\, Kawerau. Phone: 07 306 904 \nTickets: Entry is free but you must book your free ticket here to save a space. \nConditions: \nWe will be photographing the event\, please let us know when you arrive\, if you do not want to be in any photos. \nPlease book a ticket for each person (big or small) who will be making and taking home a piece of jewellery. \nBest suited for adults and older children who are confident using scissors un-aided and have the dexterity to use jewellery pliers.
