DESCRIPTION:Come along on  Friday the 14th of July 2023 to celebrate Matariki on the beautiful Te Ara ō Wairākei storm water trail in Pāpāmoa.\nPapamoa Unlimited will be illuminating the course to celebrate the nine stars in the constellation of Matariki that represent the beginning of the Māori New Year – a time to reflect on the past year\, celebrate the present\, and plan for the year ahead.\nThey are working on new features for next year and will be looking to run the art installation competition through the community\, and have live entertainment and activations on site.\nIf you are a local artist\, performer\, community group\, business or organisation interested in being a part of the Bay of Plenty’s biggest Matariki event please get in touch.
