SUMMARY:Moturiki Island Clean Up with Western Bay Wildlife Trust
DESCRIPTION:Join us this Seaweek for a morning on the rocks and beach for a clean up to enhance sea- and shorebird habitat. Meet at the beginning of Moturiki (Leisure) Island. \nRegistrations are essential because of the size of the island. Please wear closed footwear and bring a waterbottle. Gloves and gear will be provided. \nNOTE This event is weather-dependent\, please check for updates on WBWT facebook on the morning of the event! Back-up date TBA if needed. \nWhen: Sunday 1st March\, 9am \nWhere: Moturiki Island \nTickets: Free\, but registrations are essential \nAccessibility – We want everyone to feel welcome at our events\, if you have any physical\, sensory\, or other accessibility needs\, please make contact ahead of time so we can support you.\nPhotography – Please note that photographs and videos may be taken at our events and used on our social media and website. If you or your children do not wish to be photographed\, just let a staff member or volunteer know when you arrive.\nTransport – To minimise environmental impact\, we encourage walking\, biking\, carpooling\, or using public transport to attend.
