DESCRIPTION:The new plants looked good last month and some were flowering . Regional Council has been through with the spray programme to hit the grass around the new plants\, and other pests like blackberry\, ivy and Japanese honeysuckle.\nThis month’s working bee will be pest plant control. We’ll be following up behind a corporate volunteer day. Together we will make a big impact on the site.\nWe will also celebrate International Volunteers Day (a tad early\, but that’s not a problem).\nPlease come and join us. Young people welcome. Under 14y must come with a responsible adult. We provide community service hours for people who need them. So\, if you know of anyone looking for hours\, please make them aware of our project.\n\nDate: November 22 Saturday \nTime: 8:30am. Finish at 11:30am.\nMeet at the Goldie St entrance\nPark off road behind the tavern\nBring drink\, gardening gloves\, a couple of tools (useful ones are secateurs\, loppers\, hand saws).
