DESCRIPTION:Discover the biodiversity & history of the forest with Ōtanewainuku Kiwi Trust on International Forest Day. Informative walks will start on the hour from 9am until 1pm. The 11am and 1pm walks will be ideal for families with young children. \nWhen: Saturday March 21st\, multiple times. \nWhere: The Shelter\, Ōtanewainuku Forest\, 680 Mountain Road\, Oropi \nTickets: This is a FREE event to attend. Registrations essential. \nAccessibility – We want everyone to feel welcome at our events\, if you have any physical\, sensory\, or other accessibility needs\, please make contact ahead of time so we can support you.\nPhotography – Please note that photographs and videos may be taken at our events and used on our social media and website. If you or your children do not wish to be photographed\, just let a staff member or volunteer know when you arrive.\nTransport – To minimise environmental impact\, we encourage walking\, biking\, carpooling\, or using public transport to attend.
