DESCRIPTION:Date & time: Sunday 21st July 2024\, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm NZSTVenue: Envirohub Bay of Plenty\, 31B Glasgow Street\, Tauranga\, New Zealand\n\nWe are proud to announce that we have partnered with Envirohub Bay of Plenty to bring you this one-day-only event that is not to be missed!!\n* Education hub* Creative zone – with pottery making!* Live entertainment* Bioluminescent fungi-themed artworks in The Dark Zone* Giant fungi photo wall* Food and beverage vendors* Creative stallsAnd it’s all fungi and mushroom themed!!\n\nYou might ask\, ‘What’s the difference between fungi and mushrooms?’\, well you can head to our Education Hub and chat to the experts from Manaaki Whenua – Landcare Research to find out and learn all about fungi and why they are so important to us all.\n\nThen\, head over to the Creative Zone and design your own mushroom to take home for free.\n\nThe Dark Zone will be filled with glow-in-the-dark and UV reactant fungi themed works that will be based on bioluminescent fungi and mushrooms. Walk through spotting all the little mushrooms with a mini UV light in this one-of-a-kind experience.\n\nCome along in fungi inspired clothes or costume for a chance to win spot prizes!\n\nWe are proud to say that this will be an event safe for everyone to visit and enjoy – we don’t discriminate!\nAnd the best part? You choose what it will cost! We believe in removing financial barriers so you decide how much to pay for entry as we know not everyone can afford to pay what they would like to.\n\nPlease note: No ticket is required\, there will be a Koha table at the entry.
