SUMMARY:Driving our Future - EV Showcase Farmers Autovillage & Priority One
DESCRIPTION:With the current focus on carbon emissions\, shift in converting business car fleets to alternative fuel vehicles\, and incentives such as the clean car rebate\, there is a lot to consider across the Electric Vehicle (EV) space. \nOffering the largest EV range in the Western Bay of Plenty\, Mike Farmer and the team at Farmer Autovillage are opening their showroom for an event in collaboration with Priority One\, to share their knowledge and insights that will support your transition into the EV space. We will discuss the NZ government clean car discount and the details around charging solutions for the home or workplace – including their 175kW DC fast charger station. \nOn display will be the latest from Farmer Autovillage’s brands which all offer EV\, PHEV\, and hybrid options – plus two models yet to arrive on NZ shores; the all-new Audi Q4\, Volkswagen ID.4 and SKODA ENYAQ; \nThe event will also celebrate the recent launch of GoTo Car Share: an EV car sharing platform that brings a sustainable alternative to corporate car sharing. Supported by Farmer Autovillage\, Bay of Plenty Regional Council and Priority One\, Co-founder Steven Vincent will share how businesses in the CBD can use the initiative to reduce travel times\, help minimise congestion in the city\, and help reduce their carbon emissions as we prepare for a more sustainable future. \nWe’ll also be introducing UBCO\, the Tauranga manufacturer of 2×2 EV on-road and off-road bikes: Ultra-quiet\, lightweight\, and low maintenance\, they can go through mud\, up hills\, over asphalt\, and across streams without a second thought; built not just to operate sustainably\, but to turn heads around the world. \n\nDate: Thursday 17th November 2022\nTime: 5:00pm – 7:00pm\nVenue: Farmer Autovillage (Volkswagen Showroom) Hewletts Road\, Mount Maunganui
