DESCRIPTION:Get stuck in and help transform a piece of Te Puke into something truly special!\nCome on down on Saturday 19 July from 10am at the northern end of Lawrence Oliver Park for a whānau-friendly planting day. Together\, we’ll be planting over 2000 native plants as part of a restoration project to create a beautiful new wetland – improving water quality\, supporting wildlife\, and adding to the park’s cultural and recreational value.\nThis is more than just planting – it’s about connection: to the whenua\, to each other\, and to a shared future we can all be proud of.\n What to bring: Spade\, gloves\, drink bottle What to wear: Warm\, waterproof clothing and closed footwear (gumboots ideal) Parking: Limited parking on King Street & Landscape Road – please be prepared to walk a little Heads up: There are open ponds in the area – tamariki must be supervised\n Morning tea provided as a small thank you to all our awesome volunteers. Let’s make it a day to remember!
